Nigeria, Aug. 26 -- A new star has emerged at Liverpool FC. Rio Ngumoha, a 16-year-old forward of Nigerian and Guadeloupean descent, made history on Monday night by becoming Liverpool's youngest-ever goalscorer after netting a dramatic 100th-minute winner in a thrilling 3-2 victory over Newcastle United at St. James' Park.
Born in Newham, East London, on 29 August 2008, Ngumoha struck deep into stoppage time on his Premier League debut, sealing an unforgettable win for Arne Slot's side.
At 16 years and 361 days, he also became the fourth-youngest scorer in Premier League history, behind James Vaughan, James Milner, and Wayne Rooney.
