Nigeria, March 31 -- The Nigeria Police Force in Akwa Ibom State on Monday kicked off activities for the 2026 Police Week with a statewide sanitation exercise and a medical outreach.
Police Week is an annual event of the Nigeria Police Force aimed at fostering closer ties with citizens through community-based activities.
Timfon John, the police spokesperson in Akwa Ibom, said in a statement on Monday that the outreach is aimed at improving public health and strengthening community relations.
