Nigeria, Sept. 8 -- The police in Imo State say they have arrested vigilante operatives filmed assaulting two siblings - a man and a lady - en route to the Abia State University, Uturu.

The police spokesperson in Imo State, Henry Okoye, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.

PREMIUM TIMES sighted a video clip which showed two armed vigilante operatives assaulting the two siblings along a highway in Imo State.

This newspaper gathered that the incidents happened along Okigwe Road in Imo State.
