Nigeria, Sept. 19 -- Oseloka Obaze, a former Secretary to the Anambra State Government (SSG), says the Nigeria Democratic Congress presidential candidate, Peter Obi, left N86.6 billion in the coffers of the Anambra State before exiting office as governor in 2014.

Mr Obaze served as the SSG in Anambra State during the administration of Mr Obi from 2006 to 2014.

The former SSG, in a post on his X handle on Thursday, said he was personally present on 17 March 2014 when Mr Obi gave a handover letter containing details of the state's finances to then-incoming governor of the state, Willie Obiano.
