Nigeria, Oct. 19 -- Three of Nigeria's richest billionaires - Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola and AbdulSamad Rabiu - met on Sunday over a special dinner in honour of Obafemi Hamzat, the Lagos State deputy governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the state in the forthcoming 2027 elections.

Mr Rabiu, founder and executive chairman of BUA Group, disclosed this on Sunday in a Facebook post accompanied by a photograph of four of them.

According to Mr Rabiu, the "special dinner" was hosted by Mr Otedola at his residence in honour of Mr Hamzat.

Mr Rabiu, who also chairs the Africa-focused philanthropic organisation ASR Africa, wished Mr Hamzat success in his governorship pursuit.
