Nigeria, May 15 -- There is jubilation in the House of Oduduwa as Olori Mariam Ajibola Ogunwusi, one of the wives of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja II), the Ooni of Ife, has given birth to twins.

The Ooni married Olori Mariam in 2022, 10 months after his former wife, Naomi Silekunola, left him.

The new wife, who has a background in the oil and gas sector, was ushered into the palace after brief rites at the entrance to the premises.

Four years after the ceremony, Olori Mariam, an Ebira woman from Kogi State with family ties to Kwara State, has delivered twin boys for the Ooni.
