Nigeria, April 9 -- United Nigeria Airlines has been admitted into a global airline network that allows passengers to connect across multiple carriers on a single ticket, a move that could significantly expand its reach beyond Nigeria.

The airline announced its admission into the Multilateral Interline Traffic Agreement (MITA) of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in a statement signed by its spokesperson, Chibuike Uloka, on Thursday.
