Nigeria, Oct. 15 -- The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, has set up a three-member committee to investigate allegations of impropriety surrounding the receipt and disbursement of N100 million gift from the Imo State Government to the Owerri Branch of the NBA.

Ms Badejo-Okusanya, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, announced this in a letter forwarded to the Chairman of Owerri Branch of the NBA, Mazi Udegbulem.

In the letter dated 14 October and uploaded on her Facebook page on Thursday, the NBA president informed the Owerri chairman that he had received two of his letters concerning the leadership crisis in Owerri and the proposal by 183 members for an Extraordinary General Meeting.
