Like ADC, APC meets Bauchi governor who plans to quit PDP
Nigeria, April 1 -- Less than 24 hours after receiving a delegation of the opposition African Democratic Congress (ADC), Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed hosted the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, at the Government House in Bauchi on Wednesday.
The APC delegation included the Governor of Kano State, Abba Yusuf. The visits followed the Bauchi governor's statement on Tuesday that he had yet to decide which party to join, the ADC or the APC.
Mr Mohammed hosted the ADC delegation led by former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal. He said he had decided to quit the PDP due to the protracted internal crisis in the party.
