Nigeria, Sept. 16 -- The Lagos State House of Assembly on Tuesday approved the 2026 Budget Reordering Bill, adjusting the allocation of the state's N4.445 trillion budget.

The bill was passed after lawmakers considered and adopted the report of the House Committee on Economic Planning and Budget, TVC reported.

Presenting the report, the committee chairman, Olumoh Sa'ad, said the review followed differences in the implementation of capital projects by ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs).

He stated that some MDAs had recorded higher implementation of their capital allocations, while others had spent less than what was provided for their projects.
