Nigeria, June 23 -- The management of veteran Fuji musician Kollington Ayinla has denied reports circulating online claiming that the singer has died.

According to Tribune Online, the denial was contained in a statement issued on Saturday and signed by Shamsudeen Ilori on behalf of the family and the HSKA Foundation.

The statement described the reports as false, malicious and misleading.

"Our attention has been drawn to a malicious and unfounded rumour circulating all over the internet claiming that Kollington Ayinla Fuji Authority has passed away," the statement said.

The management maintained that the veteran musician, popularly known as Kebe-n-Kwara, is alive and in good health.
