Nigeria, Oct. 25 -- The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Kano State Chapter, has appointed a three-member interim leadership team to steer its affairs alongside the remaining executive committee members after its chairman, Goni Umar, resigned.

The ACF's spokesperson in Kano, Nasiru Ibrahim, said in a statement to PREMIUM TIMES that the interim team comprises Isyaku Tofa, Bala Sani and Rabia Adamu.

The appointments were announced by Haliru Akilu during a joint meeting of members of the ACF Board of Trustees representing Kano State and the chapter's executive committee, held on Saturday at the Late Amina Habib ACF Secretariat in Kano.
