Nigeria, March 30 -- The Super Eagles have suffered an injury setback ahead of their international friendly against Jordan, with goalkeeper Maduka Okoye ruled out after picking up a thigh knock in training.
Team officials confirmed that the Udinese shot-stopper sustained the injury during a session in Antalya, Turkey, and will not be available for Tuesday's fixture.
With Okoye sidelined, head coach Eric Chelle is left with Francis Uzoho and Adebayo Adeleye as the available goalkeeping options for the encounter.
Despite the setback, preparations in camp have continued steadily, with the remaining players training in Antalya as the team builds toward its final match of the international window.
