Nigeria, Oct. 11 -- The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) has called for a court interpretation of the Electoral Act 2026 and the Nigerian constitution for clarification on media reports of exit polls, election projections and independent result tallies ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The guild made the call in a communique shared with PREMIUM TIMES on Sunday after its 10th annual conference, held at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, on 7 and 8 October.
