Nigeria, Oct. 8 -- Glenfiddich has unveiled a new 16-year-old limited-edition whisky developed in collaboration with the Aston Martin Formula One Team.

The whisky was unveiled at "A Night Beyond Expectations", held at The Precision Hall on Victoria Island, Lagos, on Saturday.

The event, which brought together business and cultural leaders, creatives, celebrities and leading tastemakers, also marked the Nigerian launch of BEYOND, Glenfiddich's international campaign built around its partnership with the Formula One team.

According to the company, the whisky was matured using five types of casks: first-fill bourbon barrels, Port casks, Fino Sherry casks, Oloroso Sherry casks and wine casks.
