Geregu Power appoints new acting CEO
Nigeria, Aug. 17 -- Geregu Power Plc has appointed Mohammed Jaoji as its acting Chief Executive Officer, effective 17 August, and subject to the approval of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC).
The company disclosed the appointment in a regulatory filing signed by its Company Secretary, Gbeminiyi Shoda of StructureHQ Limited, on Monday.
Mr Jaoji's appointment followed the expiration of the tenure of Sean Manley, who served as the company's Interim Chief Executive Officer till 14 May.
The board expressed its appreciation to Mr Manley for his service and contributions to the company during his tenure, and stated its confidence that Mr Jaoji will strengthen the company's governance structure.
