Nigeria, Sept. 27 -- Nigeria's U17 women's national team, the Flamingos, have won the WAFU-B U17 Girls Cup in Yamoussoukro, Cote d'Ivoire, after defeating Togo 4-0 in Sunday's final.

The victory completed a perfect campaign for the Flamingos, who won all five of their matches, scored 17 goals and conceded only two.

Captain Harmony Chidi scored twice from the penalty spot in the first half before Oluebube Umejiaku and Oluwakemi Adegbuyi added goals in the 67th and 90th minutes, respectively.

The Flamingos had earlier defeated the Niger Republic 5-0, Ghana 4-2, Burkina Faso 2-0 and hosts Cote d'Ivoire 2-0 on their way to the final.
