Nigeria, July 17 -- The winners of the FIFA World Cup 2026 will leave New York New Jersey Stadium with more than just football's most coveted prize after FIFA unveiled a new tradition that will see the champions receive bespoke championship rings alongside the iconic trophy and gold medals.

The historic presentation will take place after the World Cup final on Sunday, 19 July, when the new world champions are crowned at New York New Jersey Stadium.
