Nigeria, Aug. 20 -- The State Security Service (SSS) said it has arrested a man for "impersonating" a deceased personnel member whom he claimed was his brother.

The suspect, Moferewa Maiye, was arrested on Wednesday while dressed in an SSS tactical uniform and armed with a "fake pistol," the media unit of the service said in a statement.

The SSS said Mr Maiye claimed that his brother, Monday Maiye, was an SSS official who died years ago. The suspect confessed that the SSS kits in his possession were his late brother's, the service added.
