Nigeria, Sept. 15 -- The academic credentials of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), have been a subject of controversy since 2023, when he contested the presidential election on the platform of the Labour Party (LP).

Political opponents and social media critics have claimed that the university degree certificate he parades is fake.
