Nigeria, Oct. 22 -- Kira and Haleemah, daughters of late veteran actor and screenwriter Taiwo "Ogogo" Hassan, have appealed to their father's fans and industry veterans to extend the same support they gave him to them as they pursue careers in his footsteps.

Ogogo, celebrated for playing calm, principled and authoritative characters on screen, died on 23 August. His family buried him the following day at his residence in Ilaro, Ogun State, in line with Islamic rites.

In an appreciation video posted on Kira Ogogo TV that gained widespread attention on Wednesday, the sisters made it clear they had no intention of leaving the movie industry just because they buried their father.
