Nigeria, Oct. 26 -- US President Donald Trump has once again made Nicki Minaj's appearance a talking point, resorting to a lewd joke about the American rapper's backside during a campaign rally in Michigan.

Mr Trump made the crude remark after travelling with the 43-year-old aboard Air Force One on Sunday to attend a rally in Port Huron, Michigan, as Republicans confront predictions of a possible Democratic wave in the midterm elections.

His latest comment follows two earlier occasions this year when he praised Minaj's appearance. PREMIUM TIMES earlier reported that Mr Trump had complimented her skin and long nails and described her as respected, sexy and "so hot".
