Nigeria, Aug. 15 -- Election Observer group, Yiaga Africa, says it will deploy an artificial intelligence-assisted system alongside its election observation methodology to independently scrutinise results from Saturday's Osun State governorship election and detect possible discrepancies between votes cast at polling units and results uploaded to the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) results portal.

The organisation's Executive Director, Samson Itodo, disclosed this in Osogbo on Friday ahead of the poll.
