Nigeria, Nov. 2 -- Ned Nwoko has appealed to bloggers, social media commentators, fans and friends of his estranged wife, Regina Daniels, to stop circulating false reports about her health and personal life, including claims of her alleged death.

The Delta North senator appealed in a statement he posted on Instagram on Monday, months after his marital dispute with the actress became a subject of debate online.

Mr Nwoko, 65, urged those discussing the actress to respect her privacy and give her some breathing space. He said he made the appeal not only for Regina's sake but also for their two sons, Munir and Khalifa.
