Nigeria, June 23 -- A woman, Amarachi Kalu, who was filmed being assaulted by a man, Agwu Ukpo, in Abia State, has urged the Nigeria Police Force to prosecute the 37-year-old suspect.

PREMIUM TIMES earlier reported how Mr Ukpo was filmed aggressively assaulting Ms Kalu inside an apartment in Aba, the commercial hub of the state.

This newspaper also reported that the police have arrested the suspect over the assault which happened in April.

A video clip of the assault surfaced online in June.

Ms Kalu, the victim, narrated in a video interview how the incident happened.

The video interview was conducted and uploaded on Facebook by a human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, on Monday.
