Ukraine, Oct. 21 -- The European Investment Bank (EIB) Group is providing €60 million in financing for Ukraine to upgrade border-crossing points in the west of the country. The EIB Group financing covers terminals, buildings including waiting areas, service and sanitary facilities, shelters, access roads, and customs-control equipment and software at Ukraine's borders with the European Union and Moldova.The project will increase transport capacity, reduce trade costs and facilitate the safe movement of goods and people between Ukraine and the EU and Moldova.
