Ukraine, Oct. 22 -- The only school in the central Ukrainian village of Horodetske has undergone a major renovation with financial support from the European Investment Bank (EIB) Group following damage incurred during Russia's full-scale invasion. Horodetska Gymnasium now has new roofs, refurbished and insulated facades and energy-efficient windows and doors for its more than 100 students and staff.The school, located in the Cherkasy region of Ukraine, required major repairs from the first day of Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 when explosions over the village damaged the roofs, shattered windows and scattered fragments across the premises.
