United States, Aug. 11 -- Vertex Modernization and Sustainment LLC, Indianapolis, Indiana, is awarded a $19,062,156 hybrid, firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and cost, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the procurement of 10 Tempest vehicles as well as associated software management, spares, ancillary components, training, and associated services required to mitigate Unmanned Aerial System threats while providing maneuverability and extended protection for maneuver forces.Work will primarily be performed in Indianapolis, Indiana, and is expected to be completed by Aug. 10, 2027.
