Norway, May 11 -- Veidekke has signed a contract with Verdal municipality to build Phase 2 of a residential and treatment centre offering 80 round-the-clock care places, located in the centre of Verdal. The project emphasises repurposing and reuse, and is scheduled to be ready for trial operation in February 2028. The assignment is a turnkey project valued at NOK 300 million excluding VAT and will be executed jointly with Veidekke's Verdal-based subsidiary, Grande Entreprenor. Veidekke won the tender for the collaboration agreement in March 2025, and has since developed the project in close consultation with Verdal municipality and partners in preparation for the municipal council's final decision at the end of March 2026.
