Norway, June 26 -- Asker municipality has signed a contract with Veidekke for the construction of the new Sætre primary school, including a sports hall and a gymnastics hall. The contract is a design and build contract valued at approximately NOK 370 million, excluding VAT. The project has high environmental ambitions. The new school is designed for 550 pupils and will comprise approximately 11,000 square metres. The project will be Nordic Swan Ecolabelled and meet the FutureBuilt criteria for nearly zero-energy buildings and circular construction.
