Norway, July 6 -- Oslobygg has awarded Veidekke the contract to expand and refurbish Bryn School in the Teisen area of Oslo. The contract is a design and build contract valued at NOK 533 million excluding VAT. The two new buildings will comprise a total of 7,000 square metres. The buildings to be refurbished - the school's original main building and two villas - comprise a total of 4,000 square metres. Veidekke's scope of work also includes the further development and upgrading of the school's outdoor areas.Construction works will commence after the summer break, with planned completion in time for the start of the school year in autumn 2029.The contract will be included in Veidekke's order backlog for the second quarter of 2026.
