Canada, Feb. 13 -- Vard Marine has completed the conversion design for HOS Rocinante, delivered following its transformation from a platform supply vessel into a commissioning service operation vessel at Eastern Shipbuilding Group's Allanton, Florida facility, according to a Vard Marine statement. The vessel has been converted for initial deployment in US offshore wind farm installation commissioning and operations. Vard Marine was selected to deliver the conversion design based on its role as designer of the original Bravante-class platform supply vessels and its experience with service operation vessels, with the project required to meet owner specifications as well as ABS class and US Coast Guard requirements.
