University of Dayton Research Institute Awarded $85 Million Aerospace Design Methods Contract
United States, Sept. 29 -- University of Dayton Research Institute, Dayton, Ohio, has been awarded a ceiling $85,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for digital system-level mission-driven integrated design methods for aerospace systems.This contract provides research to enable a vehicle system design product and thermal management system design methodologies. Work will be performed at Dayton, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 28, 2036. This contract was a competitive acquisition and eight offers were received.Fiscal 2026 research and development funds in the amount of $54,000 are being obligated at the time of award.
