United States, Oct. 1 -- Trident Research LLC, Austin, Texas, is being awarded a $9,263,815 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N0003027C2010) for engineering support of the Portable Impact Location System operated during Trident II Strategic Weapon System flight tests. This contract has optional line items which could increase the amount to $33,607,156, if exercised. Work will be performed in Austin, Texas (70%); and Cape Canaveral, Florida (30%). Work is expected to be completed by December 2030.
