India, Oct. 6 -- Transrail Lighting has secured new orders worth Rs 412 crore in its core Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business. Post these new orders, the order intake for the year has grown to Rs 2,021 crore. The Company has further L1 orders totalling to Rs 409 crore.The order wins mainly includes projects in domestic market for transmission line reconductoring through HTLS conductors. These additional reconductoring orders apart from the ones the Company declared few days back, will help Transrail to cater to such new types of projects where the high-performance carbon core HTLS conductors which are manufactured inhouse, are used to increase the current carrying capacity of the Transmission lines.With the increased manufacturing ca...
