Japan, July 21 -- Toyo Engineering Korea Limited, a subsidiary of Toyo Engineering Corporation (President and CEO: Eiji Hosoi), has been awarded a contract by HANTOK CHEMICALS CO., LTD. (HANTOK) for the construction of a Tetramethylammonium Hydroxide (TMAH) production plant in South Korea.HANTOK is a 50:50 joint venture between Tokuyama Corporation and LOTTE Chemical Corporation. Toyo-Korea will be responsible for selected procurement activities, construction, and commissioning support. The project is scheduled for completion in FY2027.TMAH is used as a photoresist developer in semiconductor manufacturing processes.
