United States, June 24 -- Tepa-Weston JV, Kansas City, Missouri, was awarded a $14,060,476 firm-fixed-price contract for rehabilitation, design, and construction of the detention basins and surrounding area at the Hawthorne Army Depot New Bomb Open Detonation Range, including removal of all material potentially presenting an explosive hazard and unexploded ordnance, and redesign of stormwater detention basins to withstand a 500-year flood event and control offsite discharge from a 100-year event or the worst storm event on record.Bids were solicited via the internet with one received.
