India, Oct. 27 -- Transformers & Rectifiers (India) (TARIL) today announced an investment of Rs. 1,250 crore to establish three greenfield manufacturing plants at its Chiyada manufacturing complex in Gujarat.The new facilities will manufacture Bushings (OIP, RIP & RIF up to 800 kV), Pressboard & Insulation Materials and Continuously Transposed Conductors (CTC), critical components that form the backbone of high-voltage transformer manufacturing and are essential for strengthening India's power transmission infrastructure.The three plants will be housed under a wholly owned consolidated ancillary subsidiary of TARIL, providing complete control over manufacturing quality, technology, procurement and long-term strategic direction.
