Sweden, Oct. 20 -- The European Investment Fund (EIF) is committing 220 million Swedish kronor (about €20 million) to venture capital firm BackingMinds in Sweden seeking out promising entrepreneurs and businesses often overlooked by traditional investors.BackingMinds Invest III will finance early-stage companies primarily in Sweden and across the Nordic region, aiming to find entrepreneurial talent beyond established venture capital networks.
