Singapore, Aug. 26 -- ST Engineering announced that the Taoyuan City Government has awarded its Urban Solutions business a $750m turnkey rail services contract for the Taoyuan MRT Green Line Extension, further strengthening its position in Taiwan's rail sector. Secured in August 2026, this is part of a broader contract with consortium partner Hyundai Rotem.ST Engineering will lead overall project management and systems integration, and provide a suite of rail electronics solutions including supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), communications system, automatic fare collection system and platform screen doors.
