Southwest Research Institute Awarded Contract Modification Worth $13,499,120 "Hypersonics Supply Chain Research Phase III."

United States, Sept. 25 -- Southwest Research Institute, San Antonio, Texas has been awarded a $13,499,120 modification (P00004) to previously awarded (FA2394-23-C-B007) Cost Plus Fixed Fee for "Hypersonics Supply Chain Research Phase III." The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $43,098,923 from $30,488,803.Work will be performed in San Antonio, Texas and is expected to be completed by September 2028. This contract was a competitive acquisition, and one offer was received.Fiscal 2025 Research and Development funds in the amount of $13,499,120 are being obligated at time of award. The Air Force Laboratory, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
