Mozambique, Sept. 1 -- On August 28, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a grant agreement with the Government of the Republic of Mozambique in the capital city Maputo, to provide grant aid for the Project for the Reconstruction of Natete Bridge. The signatures were exchanged between Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Mozambican Communities Abroad Maria de Fatima Simao Manso of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Republic of Mozambique and Senior Representative Takahashi Sulimara of JICA Mozambique.This project aims to ensure safe and reliable transportation along the Nacala Corridor by reconstructing a climate-resilient bridge over the Natete River in Ribaue District, Nampula Province.
