Bangladesh, Oct. 27 -- On October 26, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a grant agreement with the Government of Bangladesh in Tokyo, to provide grant aid for the Project for Enhancement of Ability in Maritime Safety and Security. The signatures were exchanged between Secretary Md. Shahriar Kader Siddiky of Economic Relations Division, Ministry of Finance of Bangladesh and JICA President Tanaka Akihiko.The Project will contribute to strengthening Bangladesh's maritime safety capabilities through the provision of patrol boat to the Bangladesh Coast Guard.
