Germany, Sept. 25 -- RAILPOOL, one of Europe's leading rail vehicle leasing companies, and Siemens Mobility have signed an order for the delivery of 100 Vectron X locomotives at InnoTrans 2026, the world's leading trade fair for the rail industry. This marks the first major order for Siemens Mobility's new locomotive generation. The order includes a firm call-off of 30 Vectron X and 50 Vectron X Dual Mode locomotives, with an option for a further 20 units. With the Dual Mode locomotives, RAILPOOL is expanding its Vectron fleet for the first time to include vehicles for combined use on electrified and non-electrified lines, creating additional flexibility for its customers.
