United States, July 24 -- Siemens Government Technologies, Arlington, Virginia, was awarded a $79,988,134 firm-fixed-price contract to establish a secure, government-controlled, and highly flexible advanced manufacturing capability, including an initial production capability for electric motor stator assemblies for unmanned aircraft systems.Bids were solicited via the internet with 11 received. Work will be performed in Anniston, Alabama, with an estimated completion date of Aug.9, 2027. Fiscal 2025 aircraft procurement, Army funds in the amount of $79,988,134 were obligated at the time of the award.
