Norway, Sept. 9 -- Shearwater Geoservices AS ("Shearwater") announced the launch of the Amapa 3D multi-client seismic survey in partnership with SLB. Located offshore Amapa in northern Brazil's Equatorial Margin, the project represents one of Shearwater's most significant multi-client investments and will expand high-quality 3D seismic coverage in an underexplored area of the basin. The survey area is located approximately 130 kilometres from the Morpho well, where a hydrocarbon discovery was announced. The project is designed to address critical subsurface data needs, improve geological understanding and prospect evaluation across the survey area.
