Luxembourg, Oct. 15 -- Ten new, modern trolleybuses have been delivered to Sarajevo Canton, with five already in regular service following driver training, registration and testing. The vehicles are Solaris Trollino 18 trolleybuses, manufactured by the Polish company Solaris, one of Europe's leading producers of zero-emission public transport vehicles.Procured through an international tender financed by an €8 million EIB loan, the new 18-metre Trollino trolleybuses combine full accessibility, climate-controlled interiors, real-time passenger information, GPS vehicle tracking, USB charging and video surveillance.
