RTX Corp.'s Pratt and Whitney Military Engines receives a $30.8 million contract modification to produce F135 spare engines supporting F-35 Joint Strike Fighter aircraft deliveries
United States, May 21 -- RTX Corp., Pratt and Whitney Military Engines (East Hartford, Connecticut) is awarded a $30,827,207 modification to a cost-plus-incentive-fee, fixed-price-incentive fee contract (N0001923C0030). This modification exercises an option for the production of F135 initial global spares engines and initial spare modules to support Lot 18-19 F-35 aircraft production aircraft delivery schedule for the Joint Strike Fighter program.This contract supports the Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, F-35 Cooperative Program Partners, and Foreign Military Sales customers.
