United States, Sept. 25 -- Rio Tinto Services Inc., doing business as Rio Tinto Logistics, South Jordan, Utah, has been awarded a maximum $995,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for high purity aluminum. This was a competitive acquisition with three responses received.This is a five-year contract with no option periods. The performance completion date is May 7, 2031. Using military services are Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Space Force.Type of appropriation is fiscal 2025 through 2029 transaction funds. The contracting activity is Defense Logistics Agency Contracting Services Office, Columbus, Ohio (SP8000-26-D-0009). (Awarded May 28, 2026).
