RBI Cancels NBFC Licence of Tanjore Vanijya Pvt Ltd
India, June 12 -- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has cancelled the Certificate of Registration (CoR) of Tanjore Vanijya Pvt Ltd, a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) registered in West Bengal, with effect from May 21, 2026. The cancellation order was issued in exercise of powers conferred under Section 45-IA(6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.The company, headquartered at 1B, Chaitan Sett Street, Kolkata, West Bengal 700007, held CoR No. N.05.06860, which was originally granted on June 24, 2010.
